One possible problem with Alcogas is that in order to produce enough of it for energy we need, we’ll have to put in too much, in the way of fertilizers, cultivation with machines, herbicides, pesticides. You have to factor all of that in, down to the last pint of water used for irrigation.
Is it really so very efficient? The fuel made from corn has not proven to be efficent.
Now, reusing vegetable based oils might hold some promise.
