Will using regular gas in a flex fuel car ruin the engine?

My has found a used car she wants and it says its a flex fuel. We live in a state where there are a lot of stations, but is it going to hurt to use regular gas all the time.

    No. Flex fuel vehicles were designed to run off of regular gasoline OR e-85. It however, does NOT work the other way around. Don’t put e-85 into your gasoline engine.

    no it wont hurt it,in a flex fuel you can use either regular or e-85 in it and it wont hurt a thing,look in the owners manual and it tells all about what you can run in it,good luck.

    no, the point of a flex fuel vehicle is that the motor is flexible in being able to use regular unleaded, e10, e20 or e85
