I’m using it for a science fair project but I’m not sure whether to buy 70% ethanol or 99% ethanol–the only types found at Superstore last time I checked. My teacher only told me that I can get it from basically any grocery store or drug store. Please help! Thank-you.
I’m using it in my experiment as a solvent for peppers.
I’ve never quite heard of ethanol used as a solvent for food.
However, I know that 70%-75% ethanol is used for simple sterilization in biology laboratories. Like to spray on gloved hands after working with cells.
