Hello,
I am studying ethanol, the most widely used biodiesel made today.
Right now, I only know of sugar cane and corn as two type of renewable materials that can produce ethanol.
What other things can be used?
Thank you.
you can use corn, sugarcane, rice, barley, wheat, sorghum, citrus peel, switchgrass, there are many things you can use. Anything with starch or sugars in it basically. Corn is most widely used (in the states, at least) because it yeilds the most alcohol per bushel for the best price.
