You’re probably running on Ethanol now. Look at the pump next time you go..it will say Ethanol 10%
Not necessarily cheaper for you…stations are selling it at current gas prices.

cars can safely run on a 10% ethanol to gas mixture and today service stations are converting their pumps to do this. Some new cars can run E85 which is 85% ethanol. Those cars have yellow gas caps. It appears that car manufacturers will be converting to E85 in the future. Although any car will run on Ethanol. It is highly corrosive and will destroy any parts in the fuel system made of rubber and generally corrode the whole fuel system eventually. The car’s computer program will have to be altered to properly burn ethanol. Its not easy to convert a gasoline only car to use E85. No kits to do it are available that I’m aware of, except Brazil has one, $1000 or so and I doubt it covers everything that will be needed. If you REALLY want to take advantage of the ethanol thing, you can make it. Its the same as making alcohol in a still. You will need a permit. Then buy an E85 car. Making ethanol has problems but its possible and under $2 a gallon its said. Many sights on net will tell you how.

some are premixed like in Thailand where it is also called Gasohol, no problems,no need to convert too. A little better for the environment.
