I was reading an official death certificate today and saw that the official cause of death was Ethanol, prescribed Fentanyl, and Nonprescribed Morphine. I know all about the Fentanyl and the Morphine, but am not totally sure what the Ethanol means. Could this be that the individual was drinking alcohol or that he was huffing gas? Does anyone know what this means?
They’ve been eating way to much corn on the cob
it means grain alcohol, like moonshine
Ethanol is the medical term for alcohol
Yeah like grain alcohol or some very potent liquor.
It most likely means they have been drinking alcoholic drinks. Ethanol is the chemical name for alcohol.
Considering that “Ethanol” is the medical term for alcohol. He/She probably died from alcohol poisoning.
Ethanol is just a fancy medical term for alcohol, booze, sauce, drink, firewater, etc.
Booze, almost assuredly.
alcoholic drinks.
Ethanol (ETOH) intoxication means drunk…. and it does show up in the blood….
