    if developed countries use renewable fuels they no longer need the fossil fuel sources and can sell them to the countries that require them still. However, supply and demand states we can charge as much as we want for them because they are of limited supply and, even though we don’t need them anymore, they are still valuable.

    Additionally, if you have a renewable energy source, you are probably able to produce more energy than you can use; in which case you can export it to another countrie and charge them for its use. This causes problems for the other country’s economy if they are unprepared for such a financial burden (like the US and how it imports energy)
