   Use snells law
   n1sin1=n2sin2

   n1 is air which is 1.00

   n2 is 1.36

   solve for sin2

   sin2= n1sin1/n2
   1.00* sin45/ 1.36

   sin2= .51993

   now take the inverse

   angle= sin-1( .51993)

   angle= 31.3 degrees
