racer24crm asked: I have a 2005 mustang V6 and as far as i know they aren’t supposed to use
E85 or any other type of
ethanol. So, is there anyway to convert them to run on it? I want to do it because E85 is almost a
dollar cheaper than regular around here.

Dont waste your time! Cars that run E85 get far worse gas mileage, and this is stated on window stickers of some cars. So, you arent making much of a difference. And ***** E85, its not viable, it takes WAY too much space to grow enough corn to produce any reasonable amount of E85. And screws with corn prices.
most newer cars are easy. It requires a computer tune to add the right amount of fuel, and sometimes bigger injectors to be able to meet that demand. But as far as conversion parts most will only need a new fuel filter, because the fuel lines, pump, and tank are already abe to handle oxygenated fuels(10%ethanol) This does not make it a flex-fuel vehicle, because it doesn’t have a sensor to determine the ratio of fuels, and a computer tune able to adjust to any ratio between 10-85%.
It’s cheaper because you only get about 60% the mileage on E85 as you do with gas. You’ll be paying more for fuel than you were.
