Yep, there are a a couple biodiesel pumps in my own small town. And many locals have converted their vehicles because of this. When you drive behind one, it smells kinda like french fries =)
Most vegetable oils can be converted into biodiesel by a relatively simple chemical reaction using cheap chemicals as the reactants. Even used oils (such as those used to fry french fries) can be used in the conversion process.
true. theres alot of plant sources than can b turn into bio fuels. Corn which is the most considered n most expensive process is on our governments mind. Did u know than if we take all of our crop fields in the America n plant corn for bio fuel it will only touck about 7% of our iol consumption.

Completely false. Vegetable oil (peanut oil) was the first fuel to be used in a diesel engine, so its the oldest fuel, not the newest.
Yes, vegetable oil can be converted into a diesel fuel.
Fossil fuel is just aged plant oil.
actually it is true that vegetable oil is a new bio diesel
There’s an overview of the process here:
Vegetable oil isn’t the only source, but it certainly is one of the main sources of biodiesel production.
