    It depends on what you are comparing biodiesel with but most likely it is about the same price, if not more expensive. The current selling point of renewable fuels is the cleaner burning alternative that can reduce greenhouse gas emission. You will not see a price drop on these products unless more production & competition between manufacturers begin to happen.

    Im not sure how much heating oil is, but to make bio-diesel yourself, you can get to about .83 cents per gallon.

    LOL I got me a army tent heater off eBay it will burn anything . I go around to auto repair shops and get the used oil from them that they get from doing oil changes . Allot of them will give it to you just to get rid of it and that’s what Ive been heating my house with that and wood .You can get wood about any where it doesn’t have to come off the tree old 2x4s anything wood allot of people will give it to you just to get it out of there yard some will even pay you .

    The way i look at it is heat is heat . Saves me a bundle around 4 to 500 a month in the winter months
