Is biodiesel or regular gasoline or regular diesel more efficient?

    right now biodiesels have a negative net energy because it takes more carbon fuel and water to produce them than what we get back out of them. so the answer is no, not until the technology is better

    Curently i would think diesel is more efficient. Many diesel vehicles can last for 300K or 400K miles and get good mileage from the engines and require a lot less maintenance than gasoline engines and less troublesome than biodiesel due to above mentioned problems.
