   i’ve heard some gas stations use like 15% ethanol but it causes fuel economy to decrease.

   There is no risk associated with using E85. Your engine is engineered to work just fine with that fuel. However, E85 is less expensive than unleaded gasoline, but you will get worse fuel economy using it due to the lower energy density. The national average price of ethanol is currently $3.13, and the national average for gasolin is $3.78. You save 65 cents per gallon, but on the highway you get 8 fewer miles per gallon. The annual fuel cost using strictly E85 is about $300 more per year than unleaded gasoline. It all depends how environmentally friendly you are feeling. Using E85 reduces your carbon footprint by 25%.
