How will renewable fuels change the political climate in the Middle-East?

I’m curious about any information on how hydrogen fuel cells (and other renewable fuel sources) will change the political climate in the Middle-East (and around the ).

I figure with alot of the ’ economy being oil-driven, there will be a significant change when they don’t have billions of dollars flowing into the country every year from oil exports.
