Pure Ethanol is not sold as a fuel source. You can however buy E85, which is 85% Ethanol and 15% gasoline. Because you can buy E85, there is no point in making your own ethanol/gasoline blend. If your vehicle can run on E85, it will tell you this if you look near your gas cap.

The price of E85 is close to the wholesale price of Ethanol. The national average price of E85 is currently $1.56 / gallon. Here is a website with more information on E85 prices and where you can buy E85.

Around $2 a gallon with some variables but as stated in the other answer you wouldn’t want to run a regular car on pure ethanol.

if you buy it in 42,000 gallon lots, it is being quoted in the link below at $1.60/gallon in Kansas. You want it in NYC, add $.20/gallon, you want to use it as motor fuel, add $.40/gallon tax. Then, you get 25% less miles per gallon, so add $.50/gallon, Net, $2.70/gallon, you buy gasoline for under $2.00/gallon, so why would you want to burn ethanol in your car?

Is it greener, nope makes the same NOx, CO and CO2 (which is not a pollutant). as gasoline.
