How much ethanol can I put in a gas engine?

    10 percent which is your midgrade gas, which is pretty standard at most pumps at this point.

    The oil companies mix 10 percent into the gas but they won’t go over that because of a few reasons. They are in the gasoline business not the alcohol business. Auto maunfactuers say too much alcohol can cause corrosion of some parts of the fuel system. So with 10% your safe but after that, who knows? I wouldn’t experiment too much myself.

    I’m not sure, but if you put too much, it will corrode the fuel lines. You might want to look into modifying it.

    The physical limit is 15% for most vehicles. They haven’t found one yet that it can damage at that level, but there isn’t much research done either.

    10% everyone knows will work.
