it runs great on even seems to have more power it well start
right up the coldest days. Now it gets and gas it got 15
mpg so not a big deal the e85 is 50 cents cheeper then gas here and even if e85 was the same cost as gas I would rather give my to our farmers would’nt you too? now what I need to know is what will or can this do to my engine
the is on??? and are those conversion systems needed to run e85 or am I wasting $399 dollars??? Thanks
gas has had 10% ethanol in it sines the 1970 and sines then car makers have had to make the car so that ethanol is NOT corrosive on none of the engine parts

Not sure about the gas types but things you want to make sure you are keeping up with… fuel filter and air filter every 15,000 miles, and make sure you are doing your oil changes every 3000 miles and using at least a synthetic blend oil-or full synthetic oil. The symthetic blend is what is recommended from Ford at minimum. Also trans flush every 30,000 miles. all of these can cause your engine light to come on as well.

You cannot use a conversion kit. gas/alchohol is corrosive on certain engine parts, and these parts need to be made to run this kind of flex fuel.

More than likely your injectors and o2 sensors are going to need to be replaced.

Also make sure you check out your gas lines etc, as I have heard of this gasahol eating right through.

There is a reason that your check engine light is on. You engine is running in a lean condition. Not enough fuel is getting to your engine. Long term exposure may cause some damage to your engine. has conversion kits that will put the correct amount of fuel in so your check engine light will not come on and not create the lean condition. They are also one of the only companies that has done any EPA testing. The rest of your fuel system is fine for running ethanol.
