My car needs premium and the mileage has suffered since the new gas too. I love how the law makers just get to decide we have to pay more for gas and use more gas at the same time. They say it’s to cut dependency on foreign oil but if were using more gas then it makes no sense. I don’t get why were deciding on a new president. Why not vote between Exxon and Chevron to run the country.

Ethanol gets about 20% less mpg per volume (1L gas will be 20%more mpg than 1L ethanol containing).
I do think premium contains little or no ethanol now. =\
I have been noticing a drop on MPG also with my VAN and my wife’s car.. Is this GAS with 10% Ethanol been put on everyone’s car? If so, I sure was getting way better MPG more then 6 months ago and now, not only the gas is much more expensive, but we are hardly getting the distance we were before..
Yeah, Ethanol also contains less power than the other additives. Here in north Texas, All grades of gas have an ethanol content. It was mandated by the EPA to reduce our emissions
It takes about 20 % more ethanol than gas to power an engine. Thats why it is in the gas now, so you will use more of it. The emission bullshit is just an excuse.
