   Read the recent time magazine article and many other scientific discussions on the folly of ethanol as a solution.

   Why not ask him to eliminate the farm subsidies that allow or require farmers not to grow crops in their fields? Increased supply of corn would lower prices and decrease government spending all at the same time.
