i dont think so. i know comercial jets use Jet-A wich is a similar mixture to JP-8 (jet propellant 8). This fuel is a highly modified and has additives that are used to make it have enhanced cold-weather performance. Other additives are antioxidants to prevent gumming in the engine. Anti-static agents to disipate static and prevent sparking. Corrosion inhibitors, and fuel system inhibitors. These jet fuels are close to diesel but not quite and im sure it is posible to convert to bio diesel however the complexity of this fuel already…i think would make it hard to make the switch when its already difficult with cars to make the switch
Biodiesel is a variant of the diesel fuel used in trucks and commercial vehicles, blended with an organic fuel. This fuel is designed for truck engines will never be used in aircraft because it is too heavy. Aircraft use a fuel nicknamed av-gas because it is lighter and more combustable than convention fuels. However, there is research into a viable organic aircraft fuel, however I dont believe one is yet available.
actually av gas is only used by piston engined aircraft,, not many of them around,,,
commmercial / jets all big planes use av-tur which as said before is aviation turbine fuel only for jet engines,,, if av gas was put in it will not run for long and flame out, as for bio-diesl nope it wont happen in the next 50 years

Actually, the Air Force is doing test runs with it right now.
