Totally and unequivocablly NO! Do not run E85 in that car unless you want to replace your engine!!!

E85 burns hotter and drier than regular gasoline, and you will burn up your engine very quickly. You can run E10 fuels all day and night, and the worst that will happen is you will lose a little fuel economy. But DO NOT run E85 in that car!

    God Bless.

E85 is for flex fuel vehicles. Only a select few of the newer vehicles will run this type of fuel sucessfully. Ethanol (i.e. corn alcohol) has about half the energy as gasoline, and your mileage will go way down. You car doesn’t have the capability of changing the fuel metering. It won’t hurt your vehicle in any way, but you won’t get any good gas mileage, or power.

More than likely your vehicle will not accept E85 as it is too old! Not only that E85 is very corrosive and lowers fuel economy around 20-30% on vehicles that are equipped to adjust the computer so the vehicle can run off that junk!
Worst scam our government has come up with yet! Pump billions of dollars into corn fuel and compete with our food chain. Not to mention all the oil companies own E85 refineries which receive up to 100% kickbacks from the government called subsidized payments to keep the price of that crap down under 5-6 dollars so we will even consider buying that crap. I say subsidize the freak’in gas we already buy and watch business and the economy take off like it never has before!
