Ethanol perhaps, biodiesel no. Biodiesel can be used it DIESEL engines. It simply will not work in a regular gas combustion engine without a ton of money and work, and in the end it will not be worth the conversion.

First of all that vehicle will not run on biodiesel or any other diesel for that matter. A vehicle that age is not set up for ethanol either. Small parts ethanol to gas be okay. But 85% ethanol isn’t going to happen in that vehicle and any conversion for it will be expensive.. .good luck…

Yes, unfortunately the one who said that bio-diesel and large volumes of ethanol won’t work is correct. Not without tons of money for conversions. Your best bet right now is to get something that runs on diesel, and then feed it bio-diesel, which after you research it, you will find you CAN even produce it yourself. The same for 100% ethanol (E100, not E85), but there are no cars SOLD IN THE US that can run on it!!! Guess what though? Ya know Chevy and Ford? They sell cars in Brazil that do run on E100!!! Isn’t that nice of them and our government? So that’s the deal for now, until more people like yourself start getting into this, it’s gonna be an expensive ride. Keep working on it though.
