Can anyone tell me the chemical equation for the reaction of biodiesel as an alternative fuel source?

    You wont find a chemical equation for it as biodiesel is a mixture of many different organic compounds, which in any event are long chain and complex.

    Biodiesel is a mixture of single-chain hydrocarbons ranging from 3 to 21 in length. Each different molecule will have a different equation, but there is a general equation for all hydrocarbon combustion:

    O2 + fuel -> H2O + CO2

    Oxygen + fuel produces water and carbon dioxide.
