Most gasoline vehicles can safely use gasoline blended with up to 10% ethanol (commonly known as E10).
You would have to have a vehicle that is specially designed to work with higher concentrations of ethanol, known as a flex-fuel vehicle, to use the higher concentrations of ethanol fuel (most commonly E85, or 85% ethanol/15% gasoline).
Chevrolet did make a Flex-Fuel version of the Suburban in 2002:
But whether or not your Suburban is flex-fuel, you’ll have to look for labeling on the vehicle itself (a FFV badge, or a note by the gas cap or under the hood).
